Cortland apple tree, Malus domestica “Cortland” was developed at the Agricultural New York State Experiment station, and the uses for the Cortland apples are expanded by the delicious delectable taste of the fruit that is perfect when eaten fresh off the tree.  The sweet apple juice is tasty, sweet and can be conveniently fermented into a hard cider.  The Cortland apples are gorgeously bright red in color and can be processed into dried apples, apple butter or baked into steamy apple pies.  This apple tree is not a spur cultivar, making it easier to pick, and even though it is partially fertile, growers suggest  that the use of a crabapple tree pollinator will increase the already large yields and insure a reliable crop set.

Couldn't be happier!!! May 4, 2015

Not knowing anything about Aaron's Farms, we trusted what we read and ordered 20+ trees and blueberry bushes.  A year and a half later we are more pleased than we ever imagined.  The customer service is impeccable.  Will be placing more orders in the future!!!
