Gelato Red Mulberry Tree

Alternative Views:

Gelato mulberry tree, Morus rubra L. 'Gelato'  This red mulberry tree is a fast growing and very productive tree, sometimes producing berries when only 6 feet tall.  The red mulberry fruit is very flavorful, slightly tart and sweet, and excellent to grow for fresh eating, or to cook into mulberry pies or other mouthwatering confections.  The flavor of the red Gelato mulberries is intensified, when the tree is grown in full sunshine, and the trees are cold hardy enough to grow in most of the United States.
