Georgia Bell Peach Tree

Alternative Views:

The Bell of Georgia peach tree, Prunus persica 'Bell of Georgia' was named by Col. Lewis Rumph of Marshallville, GA after his mother-in-law, Ms. Bell Hall of Macon, Georgia, and is a white skin peach with a red overlay of splotching that makes it very attractive on supermarket shelves with a great customer approval record for its appearance, and the delicious firm inside melting pulp that is fruity flavored, juicy and sweetly agreeable when it ripens around July the 4th.
