Lucca Olive Tree
Lucca Olive Tree

Alternative Views:

The Lucca olive tree, Olea europaea 'Lucca',  is very cold hardy and can survive any evergreen leaf damage that may be experienced in temperatures as low as 20 degrees F.  The Lucca olive tree is a delightful choice to harvest its olive oil that mature delicious olives with an interesting, raisin-like, earthy flavor, and the clear transparent oil is smooth to drizzle on green crisp salads.  The olive oil adds an extra dimension of toasty, musty aroma to baked foods.  The Lucca olive tree is self pollinating, and as the olive flower will set fruit in October.  The crops are reliably high quality and reliably huge.

Finally found one February 13, 2017

After finding some store was not shipping to some states like Virginia I purchased this olive tree because its as a USA type.  However, I'm a little not sure how $40 pays for a thin branch that is 2-3 feet with some leaves on it?  How many years is it going to take?
