Moorpark Apricot Tree

Alternative Views:

Moorpark apricot trees produce apricots in mid-July, and when tree ripened and picked straight off the tree are soft with a yellow color, and each fruit develops a whiff of ripening fragrance that has a floral, fruity complexity, unlike any other apricot cultivar.  The Moorpark apricot tree reaches a flowering climax in March or April, and as the oval fruit develops a softness on the branch in mid-July, then that is the signal that it is ripe for picking and ready to be eaten now.
