Arbequina Olive Tree
Arbequina Olive Tree

Alternative Views:

The Arbequina olive tree, Olea europaea 'Arbeequina',  is a slow growing tree that begins to bear at an early age, and the size of the olive fruit is medium in size.  When ripe the Arbequina olive oil when pressed out should be used within a couple of months, because of the rather limited short shelf life.  The musky deep fruit flavor is excellent for using on green salads and to use in the preparation of special foods.  The olives have an agreeable tangy taste and are crunchy additions to serve along with cooked meats.

4 of 5 Root ball May 21, 2017
Reviewer: Ronald Alphin from Pinehurst, NC United States
For a tree 5-1/2' tall, the root balls on the trees you shipped were about 1/3 the size they should have been. This comes from our professional horticulturist.
All this to allow two trees to be shipped in an 8" square cardboard box, and save money. I would gladly have paid 5x the price for shipping, and had it done the correct way.
