Florida King Peach Tree

Alternative Views:

Florida King peach tree, Prunus persica 'Florida King' (aka. Flordaking peach tree).  This peach tree cultivar requires only 150 hours of chill temperatures to set a crop, and Flordaking peaches can be grown as far South as Gainesville, FL,   Commercially this peach has been successful, and the large 5 inch size peaches ripen early in the season and are ready to eat in May.  A ripe Florida King peach has a yellow skin along with a yellow flesh with red splotches.  The flavor is excellent, firm, aromatically favorable with a pleasurable, sweet taste.

Florida Kink Peach Trees October 24, 2017
Reviewer: Sandra Marshall from Inez, TX United States
Our trees arrived bare root in a timely manner.  No problem.  We planted them right away.  Only 2 of the three trees were alive.  The other just remained a stick.  I meant to request a replacement tree, but forgot.  Will do that next spring as it is late in the year now.  Thanks for asking.  Sandra Marshall
