Sycamore Tree

The Sycamore tree, Platanus occidentalis, is a very cold hardy tree and native to the United States, growing into enormous specimens over 100 feet tall with large, light-green leaves with 3 to 5 points that presents this tree as an excellent, fast growing shade tree.  The trunks of the Sycamore trees are often hollow as the tree matures, and the bark peels off revealing a smooth white mottled slick look underneath.  Homeowners prize this tree for its abundant shade that is provided in almost every State, because of its extreme cold hardiness.  The Sycamore trees can grow as much as 6 feet in one year, and in the fall the leaves turn bright yellow, sometimes as early as September.

A fast growing tree needed March 26, 2018

Website easy to use.  Selected tree, height and filled in shipping info.  Sycamore tree arrived trimmed, in a protective box and roots wrapped in plastic holding paper and moisture granules.  Price with shipping gives you a fresh tree rather than one that has been sitting around a Nursery in a plastic tub.  Recommend!
